Overview

## What pressure washing covers in Manchester

### What the service is
Pressure washing, also called jet washing or exterior cleaning, uses a high-pressure water stream to lift dirt, algae, moss, grime and staining from hard outdoor surfaces. Because we are a clearance and waste removal company first, we can clear rubbish, bags, green waste and junk from the area before we wash it, which most cleaning firms will not do.

### Who it's for
Homeowners with tired patios, paths and drives; landlords and letting agents preparing a property between tenancies; housing providers and managing agents responsible for bin stores and communal areas; and businesses that want yards, entrances and car park edges presentable for staff and customers.

### When it's needed
Before selling or letting a property, after a clearance has exposed years of grime underneath, when a bin store has started to smell or attract pests, when slabs have turned green and slippery, or simply as regular upkeep of a commercial frontage.

### Why professional help matters
A dirty surface is often a slippery one, and a neglected bin store or yard says a lot about how a building is managed. We are public liability insured, company number 17117250, and registered as a waste carrier, so anything cleared before the wash is disposed of properly and documented on request.

Leave it and it costs more

## What happens if it’s left
Outdoor surfaces decline slowly enough that nobody notices until they are a problem for somebody else.

- Algae and moss on paving and steps make them slippery, which is a real trip and fall risk for residents, visitors and staff.
- Bin stores that are never washed down attract flies, rats and complaints, especially in warmer months.
- Grimy frontages and yards put off buyers, tenants and customers before they have even reached the door.
- Washing over rubbish just moves it around; debris pushed into drains causes blockages later.
- Hiring a cleaner and a clearance firm separately means two call-outs and two bills for the same area.
### Common mistakes we see

- Using a domestic pressure washer and spending a whole weekend on a single patio.
- Washing before the area has been cleared, then having to do it again.
- Blasting soft joints and pointing out of paving with too much pressure.
- Leaving washed-off debris in gullies and drains instead of collecting it.

Our process

## How the job runs, start to finish

- 1
### Call or send photos
Tell us the postcode and what needs shifting, or send a couple of photographs. We work out the volume and access from that: no waiting on a surveyor.

- 2
### Fixed price agreed
You get one clear figure before anything is booked, based on volume, weight and access. It does not change unless you add to the job.

- 3
### Time slot confirmed
We confirm a day and a time window, including evenings and weekends, and ring you before we set off so you are not waiting in.

- 4
### Cleared and swept
Our crew does all the carrying and loading, segregates timber and metal for recycling, and brushes the area through before we leave.

- 5
### Legally disposed, documented
The load goes to a licensed commercial waste facility. Pay by card, cash or transfer, and ask for a waste transfer note for your records.

What you get

## Why customers book pressure washing with Fisher

### Cleared and washed in one visit

If there is rubbish, green waste or junk in the way, we clear it first and wash straight after. One crew, one visit, one price.

### Homes and businesses

From a single back patio to communal paving and commercial yards, the job is scoped to the space and quoted as a fixed figure.

### Safer surfaces

Removing algae, moss and slime from paving and steps reduces slip risk for everyone who uses them.

### Debris collected, not pushed into drains

Loose material lifted by the wash is gathered and removed, rather than left to block gullies.

### Insured and registered

Public liability insured and registered as a waste carrier, with waste transfer notes available on request for anything we take away.

### Out-of-hours slots

Working 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, means business premises can be done before opening or after closing.

In detail

## Pressure Washing in Manchester: the detail that matters

### Surfaces we pressure wash
We clean hard outdoor surfaces where the dirt is the problem, not the material itself.

- Patios, slabbed gardens and paths
- Block paved and concrete driveways
- Bin stores and refuse areas
- Communal paving, entrances and walkways
- Commercial yards and loading areas
- Alleyways and back entries after a clearance

### Home exterior cleaning
For homeowners, pressure washing is usually about getting a patio, path or drive back to the colour it was meant to be. It is popular before selling or letting, before a family event, or after a garden clearance has uncovered slabs that have not seen daylight for years. If the garden also needs rubbish or green waste removing, our Clear & Pressure Wash package covers both stages at one price.

### Business exterior cleaning
For landlords, letting agents, housing providers and businesses, exterior cleaning is about safety, hygiene and first impressions. Bin stores, communal walkways, rear yards and entrances get heavy use and little attention. We can clear overflowing bin stores and fly-tipped waste, then wash the area down, and we can work early or late to avoid disrupting residents, customers or staff.

### What pressure washing will and will not do
Pressure washing removes surface dirt, algae, moss and most general grime very effectively. It will not always remove deep oil stains, rust marks or staining that has soaked into porous stone, and it cannot repair cracked or loose paving. We tell you before we start what result is realistic, so the price matches the outcome.

### How we price pressure washing
Pricing depends on the size of the area, how dirty it is, access to water and the site, and whether any clearance is needed first. Every job is quoted as a fixed price after a quick look or a few photos. Our minimum job value is £60.

### Responsible disposal
Anything we clear before washing is handled the same way as all our waste. We are committed to responsible disposal, and a significant portion of the waste we collect is sent for recycling, not landfill. The rest goes to a licensed commercial waste facility.

Common questions

## Pressure Washing questions, answered straight
Do you pressure wash homes and businesses?Yes. We clean patios, paths and drives for homeowners, and bin stores, yards, entrances and communal areas for landlords, agents and businesses.

Can you clear the area before washing it?Yes, and this is what sets us apart. We are a registered waste carrier, so rubbish, green waste and junk can be cleared first and the surface washed in the same visit.

How much does pressure washing cost?It depends on the area, the level of dirt, access and whether clearance is needed. Every job is quoted as a fixed price, with a £60 minimum job value.

Do you need my water supply?Usually we need access to an outside tap or a suitable water supply. Let us know when booking if there is not one and we will discuss options.

Will pressure washing damage my paving?Used properly it should not. We adjust the pressure to the surface and point out anything loose or fragile before starting.

Can you remove oil stains?Pressure washing lightens most staining, but deep oil, rust or soaked-in marks may not come out completely. We will be honest about what is realistic before we start.

Can you work outside business hours?Yes. We work 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, so commercial premises can be cleaned before opening or after closing.

Which areas do you cover? We cover Manchester and Greater Manchester, including Salford, Eccles, Stockport, Altrincham, Wigan, Bolton, Oldham and Bury.

## Where we work & what else we clear
