Overview

## What full outdoor transformation covers in Manchester

### What the service is
Full Outdoor Transformation is our end-to-end package. It combines the four stages that a neglected outdoor space normally needs and that most people otherwise buy separately: stripping out structures, decking, fencing and old surfacing; digging out bases, roots and made ground with a mini digger; clearing and legally disposing of everything that comes off; and finishing with light landscaping such as levelling, turf, membrane and gravel or edging. One crew, one point of contact, one fixed price.

### Who it's for
Homeowners with a garden that has gone past a tidy-up, landlords and agents repositioning a property where the outside space is killing the listing, probate sales where a garden has been unattended for years, and commercial clients dealing with yards and communal ground.

### When it's needed
When the space is genuinely unusable rather than just untidy: a collapsed shed on a cracked base, decking rotting over rubble, a garden that has been turfed twice and failed twice, or a yard that has become a dumping ground. It is also the sensible package before a sale or a letting, where the outside space is the first thing anyone sees.

### Why professional help matters
Buying these stages separately means three or four sets of quotes, three mobilisations, three sets of access arrangements and gaps of weeks between stages where the site sits half-finished. Bundling them means the material coming out and the material going down are handled on the same visits, waste is removed as it is produced rather than stockpiled, and there is one person accountable for the result. Everything is handled by an Environment Agency registered waste carrier, publicly liability insured, company number 17117250, with waste transfer notes on request.

Leave it and it costs more

## What happens if it’s left
The reason most neglected gardens stay neglected is not cost. It is that nobody wants to project-manage four trades for a back yard.

- Separate contractors blame each other when the ground is not right, and you are left arbitrating between them.
- A half-finished garden sits open through Manchester's wet months and regrows faster than it was cleared.
- Turf or paving laid on ground that was never properly dug out fails, and the whole cost is spent again.
- Spoil and demolition waste stockpiled between stages block access and attract fly-tipping from others.
- A poor outdoor space measurably slows a sale or a letting, and the holding cost of that usually exceeds the work.
### Common mistakes we see

- Starting with the finish. Turf and gravel are the last stage, not a fix for what is underneath.
- Clearing without deciding what goes back, so the space is empty and then abandoned.
- Hiring plant without a plan for the arisings.
- Splitting the job across contractors who each price only their own stage and none of the waste.

Our process

## How the job runs, start to finish

- 1
### Call or send photos
Tell us the postcode and what needs shifting, or send a couple of photographs. We work out the volume and access from that: no waiting on a surveyor.

- 2
### Fixed price agreed
You get one clear figure before anything is booked, based on volume, weight and access. It does not change unless you add to the job.

- 3
### Time slot confirmed
We confirm a day and a time window, including evenings and weekends, and ring you before we set off so you are not waiting in.

- 4
### Cleared and swept
Our crew does all the carrying and loading, segregates timber and metal for recycling, and brushes the area through before we leave.

- 5
### Legally disposed, documented
The load goes to a licensed commercial waste facility. Pay by card, cash or transfer, and ask for a waste transfer note for your records.

What you get

## Why customers book full outdoor transformation with Fisher

### One contractor, start to finish

Strip out, dig out, clearance and landscaping under one instruction and one accountable crew, so nothing falls between trades.

### One fixed price for the whole scheme

The stages are priced together before anything starts. It does not move unless you add to the job, and there is no separate waste bill at the end.

### Cheaper than buying the stages separately

You pay once for access, set-up and travel, and waste leaves as it is produced rather than being double-handled.

### Waste handled legally throughout

Every stage produces waste and all of it goes with a registered carrier, with timber, metal and green waste separated for recycling first.

### Built around your dates

We work 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, so stages can be scheduled around tenancies, viewings, trading hours and other trades.

### A finished, usable space

The result is level ground with turf, gravel or clean surfacing and tidy boundaries, not a cleared plot you still have to deal with.

In detail

## Full Outdoor Transformation in Manchester: the detail that matters

### The four stages
Each stage is a service in its own right; the package is the sequence, done properly and in order.

- Strip out: sheds, decking, fencing, old paving, fixtures and anything else coming off the space
- Dig out: bases, hardcore, roots and made ground removed by mini digger where access allows
- Clearance: all arisings and existing waste loaded and legally disposed of, recycling separated first
- Light landscaping: levelling, topsoil, turf, membrane and gravel, edging and boundary tidying

### How a transformation is scoped
It starts with photographs or a short look at the space. We work out what has to come off, what is likely to be in the ground, how a machine can get in, roughly how many loads of waste the job will produce and what finish makes sense for how the space will be used. You get one figure covering all of it. Small yards are often done in a day or two; a full garden with a base to remove and turf going down usually runs across several visits, scheduled so the site is never left open longer than it needs to be.

### Choosing the right finish
Turf is the right answer for a family garden with reasonable drainage and someone to cut it. Membrane and decorative gravel are usually the right answer for rentals, small yards, side returns and anywhere on heavy clay with poor drainage, which describes a large share of Greater Manchester's older housing stock. We will tell you which one the ground actually supports rather than quoting the more expensive option by default.

### Residential, lettings and commercial
Domestically this is back gardens, front gardens and yards across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Eccles, Altrincham, Bolton, Bury, Oldham and Wigan. For landlords and agents it is a way to fix an outdoor space between tenancies with a single instruction and one invoice. Commercially it covers yards, frontages, communal ground and service areas, usually scheduled outside trading hours.

Common questions

## Full Outdoor Transformation questions, answered straight
What is included in a Full Outdoor Transformation?Strip out of structures and old surfacing, mini digger dig out where needed, complete clearance and legal disposal of everything that comes off, and light landscaping to finish, all under one agreed price.

How much does it cost?It is quoted individually, because a small yard and a large overgrown garden with a concrete garage on it are not comparable jobs. Prices start from £60 for our smallest work, and every transformation is scoped and fixed in writing before anything starts.

How long does it take?A small yard is often one or two days. A full garden with demolition, a dig out and turf usually runs across several visits, and we give you the schedule with the quote.

Can I take only part of the package?Yes. Each stage is available on its own, and the smaller bundles, Clear and Pressure Wash or Clear and Garden Waste Removal, sit between a single service and the full transformation.

Do you need machine access? For the dig-out stage, ideally yes. We check the access route before booking and, where a machine genuinely cannot get in, we quote the ground work as hand dig instead.

What happens to all the waste? It leaves with us as an Environment Agency registered waste carrier. Timber, metal and green waste are separated for recycling and only genuinely mixed waste goes for disposal at a licensed facility. Waste transfer notes are available on request.

Do you work on rental properties between tenancies?Regularly. We can work from a key or a code, work evenings and weekends, and send photographs at each stage.

Is the work insured?Yes. Fisher Group Services Ltd, company number 17117250, holds public liability insurance and is registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier.
