Overview

## What clear & garden waste removal covers in Manchester

### What the service is
Clear and Garden Waste Removal combines two jobs that almost always exist at the same property: general waste inside or around the building, and green or garden waste outside it. Furniture, bags, boxes, white goods and household clutter come out, and cuttings, overgrowth, turf, soil, branches, old pots and garden junk go on the same visit. The two waste streams are kept separate on the van so the green material can be recycled properly, but you deal with one crew and one price.

### Who it's for
Homeowners clearing a house and the garden at the same time, landlords and agents turning around a property where both the interior and the outside space have been left, probate and bereavement clearances where a garden has gone unattended, and commercial clients with mixed site waste.

### When it's needed
Most commonly at tenancy changes, property sales, probate clearances and end-of-summer garden resets, and any time a household clear-out has already produced a pile in the garden that is only going to grow.

### Why professional help matters
Booking a general clearance and a garden clearance separately means paying twice for the crew, the travel and the access, and it usually means the garden waits weeks. Combining them uses the same visit efficiently. It also keeps the waste streams honest: green waste has a different disposal route to mixed general waste, and separating it properly is part of why we can keep prices sensible. Everything leaves with an Environment Agency registered, insured carrier and a waste transfer note is available on request.

Leave it and it costs more

## What happens if it’s left
Splitting a property's waste into two bookings is one of the most reliable ways to spend more and wait longer.

- Green waste left in bags degrades, attracts pests and becomes heavier and more expensive to move.
- A tenancy change slips because the garden was booked as a separate job for the following week.
- Mixed loads of green and general waste tipped together cost more to dispose of, and that cost gets passed on.
- Two separate call-outs means two lots of travel, access and set-up in the same price.
- Garden waste dumped by unlicensed operators is still traceable to the property it came from.
### Common mistakes we see

- Assuming a council green bin will absorb a full garden clearance; it will take months of collections.
- Bagging soil and turf, which is far heavier than people expect and cannot go in most garden waste schemes.
- Booking the interior clearance first and leaving the garden until the property is otherwise ready.
- Mixing soil, rubble and green waste into one heap, which forces the whole load onto the most expensive disposal route.

Our process

## How the job runs, start to finish

- 1
### Call or send photos
Tell us the postcode and what needs shifting, or send a couple of photographs. We work out the volume and access from that: no waiting on a surveyor.

- 2
### Fixed price agreed
You get one clear figure before anything is booked, based on volume, weight and access. It does not change unless you add to the job.

- 3
### Time slot confirmed
We confirm a day and a time window, including evenings and weekends, and ring you before we set off so you are not waiting in.

- 4
### Cleared and swept
Our crew does all the carrying and loading, segregates timber and metal for recycling, and brushes the area through before we leave.

- 5
### Legally disposed, documented
The load goes to a licensed commercial waste facility. Pay by card, cash or transfer, and ask for a waste transfer note for your records.

What you get

## Why customers book clear & garden waste removal with Fisher

### One visit, one price

Inside and outside handled together, with a single fixed figure agreed before we start rather than two separate quotes.

### Cheaper than two bookings

You pay once for the crew, the travel and the access. That is the whole reason the bundle exists.

### Waste streams kept separate

Green waste is kept apart from general waste on the van so it goes to the right disposal route and more of the load is recycled.

### Full labour included

We carry, load and sweep. Nothing needs to be dragged to the kerb before we arrive, indoors or out.

### Fast turnaround for lettings

A property and its garden dealt with in one day is what keeps a check-in date, and we work 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.

### Documented disposal

Registered waste carrier, public liability insured, company number 17117250, waste transfer notes on request.

In detail

## Clear & Garden Waste Removal in Manchester: the detail that matters

### What we take on a combined job
The bundle is deliberately broad, because a real property clear-out never sorts itself neatly into categories.

- Furniture, mattresses, white goods and general household items
- Bagged rubbish, boxes, carpets and soft furnishings
- Hedge and tree cuttings, brambles and general overgrowth
- Turf, soil and spent compost
- Old pots, planters, broken garden furniture and play equipment
- Fence panels, decking offcuts and timber

### How the waste is handled
Timber is separated and recycled into new products, metals and other separable materials are diverted, and green waste goes on its own disposal route rather than being buried inside a mixed load. Only genuinely mixed general waste goes for disposal at a licensed commercial facility. Disposal runs through our family-run partner site, Skip Co Mcr, which is why our combined loads are priced sensibly rather than at commercial gate rates.

### Residential and commercial use
Domestically this is house clearances where the garden has been used as overflow storage, probate properties, and end-of-tenancy work. Commercially it is landlords, agents, housing providers and grounds teams who need a building and its outdoor space dealt with as one instruction, often across several properties in the same week.

### Pairing it with the rest of the work
A combined clearance is frequently the first stage of something larger. If the garden underneath is going to need levelling, turfing or gravelling, the Full Outdoor Transformation package covers the strip out, dig out, clearance and finish under one price, which is cheaper again than adding stages afterwards.

Common questions

## Clear & Garden Waste Removal questions, answered straight
What is included in the combined bundle?General waste clearance and garden or green waste clearance at the same property, in the same visit, quoted as one fixed price with all labour and legal disposal included.

Is it cheaper than booking two clearances?Yes, because you are only paying once for the crew, travel and access. The exact figure depends on the total volume, weight and access, and it is agreed before we start.

How much does it cost?Prices start from £60 and every combined job is quoted individually on volume, weight and access, since no two properties produce the same load.

Do you take soil and turf?Yes. Soil, turf and spent compost are heavy, so they affect the price more than their volume suggests, but they are no problem to remove.

Do I need to bag anything up first? No. We do all the carrying and loading, inside and out, and brush the area through before we leave.

Can you do the inside and outside on different days?We can, but the saving comes from doing both in one visit. If it has to be split, we will quote it honestly as two jobs.

What happens to the green waste? It is kept separate from general waste on the van and sent down its own disposal route, with as much as possible recycled rather than landfilled.

How quickly can you come out?We work 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, and same-day or next-day slots are regularly available across Greater Manchester.
